I really like the idea of these devices, but I really worry about energy waste. I was thinking I'd like mine to include a motion sensor, so that it only turned on when somebody was in close proximity.

That's a great point Darren!
It's actually too bad that there isn't a *motion sensor* adaptor that you could plug *hundreds* of little devices into, and the adaptors would only let the juice flow when there was someone to appreciate it. This would work for lights, frames like this, hmmm, what else?
